While I tried to be general to be more inclusive in potential matches, I ended up getting a lot of conservative (political/religious) individuals that showed up on the site. Also, was concerned that their customer care center is outsourced to another country (concerns with my safety and privacy there). I find chemistry.com a very rigid web site and don’t like the lack of freedom in perusing individuals’ profiles. I am a "member" and have full privledges . That means that the mistakes I made in the "profile" (read as test), will haunt me for the rest of my life. I am now marked as a less than "contientious" person and there is no way to re-take the test to rectify the error. Cute? It gets better. They will not allow you to archive a person and then "unarchive" them. If you say not interested, that is it, no one can change their mind. WOW I will not go into the mess they call a profile, Suffice to say they had someone with very deep seated psychological issues develop the site and the test. Find another site.
