Today my girlfriend and I are celebrating our one-year anniversary after meeting on Match last March. For all the grief I am periodically accused to dishing out to the industry, I do so because I believe that online dating works and I remain hopeful that the experience will continue to improve.
A year from now the industry is going to look a lot different. Some of you will still be here, a lot of you will have moved on to the next big internet thing. New services and technologies to enhance the matching process, better customer service and improved marketing will continue to drive the industry forward and I look forward to the changes to come.
There is 9 inches of powder falling in Vermont and I have a chair lift to catch.
