I’m taking a few days to unwind and process everything that happened in Miami. Early next week I’ll post notes from the sessions I attended and dig into the juicy details on what went down in the hallways. Post your thoughts about the show in the comment field (the number next to the “#” sign below). What impressed you the most, the least? What you would change to improve the next conference?

Couple problems with the show:

1. Too much security (what was that all about?)
2. Bad hotel
3. No rooms left in the inn (see 2)
4. BFE plane ride for those of us not on the east coast
5. Not enough time for the Q&A in the sessions
6. Overall the conf. cost too much and I’m pissed that they dicounted at the door for all the lazy freaks that didn’t pre-register.
7. Need more networking time - people don’t talk business at the after hours party

Couple of Positives:

1. Way better than Sitras, which I wish would just die so I only had to do this once a year instead of three times a year.
2. Good exhibitors
3. Good sessions - very informative
4. Two days is enough time

Overall suggestion: put the thing in Vegas so we can at least gamble after hours and all stay in the same hotel. Miami is too far out of the way. Oh ya, one more - DIE Sitras, DIE!!!!

Overall we thought as a software company the event was a success. I personally learned a lot about the metrics of the dating industry and made some pretty good alliances and prospects for our technology.

Love your blog and keep up the good work!
