Beliefnet to Launch Soulmatch

by David Evans on May 26, 2004 in Dating Sites

Beliefnet.com, the leading multifaith, spirituality and religion web site, announced today that it will be launching Soulmatch, a values-oriented, spiritually-attuned online dating service. Today, Beliefnet unveiled a beta version of the service and invited users to pre-register and create user profiles.

“The questionnaire tries to display each person’s core values — whether they spring from a secular ethical upbringing, a spiritual sensibility, or a religious background,” noted Steven Waldman, Editor in Chief and CEO of Beliefnet. Release.

After I was asked if I wanted to to subscribe to newsletters such as “Faith-based jokes” and “Spiritual Weight Loss”, the site displayed “Sorry” and wouldn’t let me in. It’s beta so we’ll let that slide, but just for today.
